A K‑8 Special Education Teacher position is available in Sunnyvale, CA, for the current school year on a contract basis. This role is perfect for a dedicated educator holding a California Education Specialist credential who is passionate about providing tailored support to students with special needs.

• Serve as case manager for a caseload of 20 students
• Develop, write, and hold Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Provide Specially Designed Academic Instruction (SAI) minutes in accordance with student needs
• Coordinate with support providers to ensure comprehensive student assistance
• Maintain detailed records and collaborate with school staff to promote student success

• Valid California Education Specialist credential is required
• Experience working with TK‑8 age students in a special education setting
• Strong organizational and communication skills for managing caseload and IEP responsibilities
• Ability to work full‑time, 40 hours per week, five days a week
