Two full‑time School Psychologist positions are available for the school year in Sunnyvale, CA, supporting K-12 students. Both roles are in‑person and involve serving as the sole psychologist at their respective sites, with collaborative opportunities through monthly meetings with other district psychologists.
Position Details:
One psychologist will serve two elementary (TK-5), balancing caseloads across both campuses. The other position is based at a middle school (grades 6-8). Caseloads include approximately 61 students with IEPs at each assignment. Typical responsibilities include conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and developing initial behavior intervention plans. Direct counseling will be limited and may vary depending on the site.
Work schedules are Monday through Friday with school hour ranges:
Middle School 7:45 AM3:00 PM;
Elementary Schools either 7:45 AM3:00 PM or 8:00 AM3:15 PM.
Qualifications/
Experience:
Valid School Psychologist credential or certification appropriate for K-12 education. Experience conducting comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and developing behavior plans. Familiarity working with diverse student populations and collaborating with educational teams. Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseloads and participate in district-wide professional meetings.
