Our new Sunnyvale, CA facility is equipped with cutting‑edge lab and facility systems supporting next‑generation semiconductor R&D, failure analysis, and materials characterization.
We are seeking a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Engineering Technician to support our engineering teams in daily lab operations, sample preparation, and general engineering tasks.
This role is ideal for someone early in their technical career who is eager to learn directly from experienced engineers, build strong fundamentals in semiconductor analysis, and grow into specialized engineering teams over time.
Role OverviewAs an Engineering Technician, you will work closely with engineers to support lab operations. Your responsibilities will include sample preparation, tool support, documentation, and general engineering assistance, with increasing responsibility as your skills develop.

Key Responsibilities- Support engineering teams with sample preparation for electron microscopy and materials analysis
- Assist with daily operation, setup, and basic maintenance of lab tools and equipment
- Perform general engineering and laboratory tasks, including tool checks, material handling, and data organization
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lab environment
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Willingness to learn hands‑on lab and engineering skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, documentation tools)
- AA, AS, or AAS in electronics, mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
- Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, materials science, or laboratory environments
- Experience with sample preparation, microscopy labs, or cleanroom work
- Basic mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation experience
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals or SOPs
