At Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll join our collaborative team of Product Applications Specialists contributing to scientific innovation. As a technical expert, you'll work with customers, sales teams, and R&D to develop and implement advanced solutions across our diverse portfolio of analytical instruments and technologies. You'll provide applications support, conduct applications training, draft application notes and technical guides, and help customers optimize their workflows to advance their research and development goals.

Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer through scientific advancements.

Education & Experience:

Advanced degree with 6 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience with relevant analytical instrumentation and applications development

Preferred Fields of Study:
Chemistry, Materials Science, Life Sciences, or related field

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Deep technical expertise in area of specialization (e.g., ion chromatography, liquid chromatography, mass spectrometry, or related fields

Proven ability to develop and optimize complex analytical methods and workflows

Strong project management skills and ability to lead multiple concurrent projects

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with customers and internal teams

Experience delivering technical presentations and training to diverse audiences

Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills

Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional global teams

Proficiency with data analysis software and standard office applications

Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with customers and colleagues

Available for up to 25% travel, including international, for customer support and events

Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial
