Job DescriptionOur Bosch Research team occupies a critical position between academic research and product development, distinguishing us from many other companies. We engage with academia, incubate ideas, advance them to the prototype stage, and collaborate with development teams in our business units to support product development based on our research outcomes. We are seeking a highly qualified Research Scientist specializing in Mixed Signal Design to join our team in Sunnyvale, United States.
In this role, you will be at the forefront of advancing mixed‑signal integrated circuit technology, contributing to cutting‑edge research and development projects.
- Spearhead research initiatives in mixed‑signal integrated circuit design, advancing the state‑of‑the‑art in current technology.
- Develop innovative circuit architectures and design techniques for next‑generation mixed‑signal systems.
- Conduct rigorous simulations and analysis to optimize circuit performance and power efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate mixed‑signal designs into complex system‑on‑chip (SoC) solutions.
- Author technical papers and present research findings at prestigious conferences and industry events.
- Provide mentorship to junior researchers and contribute significantly to the expansion of the team's expertise in mixed‑signal design.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the field of mixed‑signal IC design.
- Actively participate in the patent process to protect intellectual property and innovative designs.
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field with minimum 5 years of experience in mixed‑signal design, including successful research projects and publications.
- Advanced knowledge of analog and digital circuit design principles, with expertise in mixed‑signal IC design (data converters, PLLs, high‑speed interfaces).
- Proficiency in industry‑standard simulation and design tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys) and programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- In‑depth understanding of semiconductor physics and fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a research team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and think creatively to solve complex technical challenges.
This is a U.S. baed position, domestic relocation and local sponsorship considered on a per candidate basis.
The U.S. base salary range for this full‑time position is $150,000 - $185,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your…
