- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or equivalent with formal training in optics.
- 5–10 years in a system validation role for consumer electronics or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of ambient light sensing (ALS) and its validation.
- Proficiency in Python for test automation and data analysis (pandas, numpy, OpenCV), plus shell/batch scripting.
- Hands-on experience with ADB and device-level debugging.
- Ability to define test specs and select appropriate test equipment.
- Comfortable working across both macOS and Windows.
- Experience in technical documentation and test report generation.
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to convey complex technical information to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
