What You’ll Do

You will be responsible for managing special projects, primarily accounting for the revenue activities of acquired companies, assisting in assessing the accounting policies of those companies and integrating those companies into Core Weave’s processes. This includes driving significant process improvements, system integrations, ensuring compliance with ASC 606, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency and scalability in the revenue accounting function.

When and to the extent there aren’t M&A activities requiring the above duties, you will be involved in other special projects in the Order to Cash area that drive efficiencies, such as automations and system implementations. This role will report to the Senior Revenue Accounting Manager, Software and SaaS, and play a critical role in supporting Core Weave’s growth and financial reporting processes.

In this role, you will need to be detail-oriented, collaborative, and be able to thrive in a dynamic environment that balances technical accounting with operational execution.

In this role you will:
  • Manage the revenue close process for acquisitions, including journal entry and reconciliation preparation and/or review, system data validation, and close metrics reporting.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, IT and others to implement standard methodologies, automation, and streamline order-to-revenue processes.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on process automation, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
  • Support strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, pricing transformations, and launch of new revenue streams.
  • Lead post-acquisition revenue process integration, including Net Suite ARM and system migrations, and assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
  • Align acquired company’s policies, processes, and SOX controls with corporate standards.
  • Ensure compliance with ASC 606 and internal revenue recognition policies.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders on revenue-related matters.
  • Identify and resolve potential revenue accounting issues.
  • Partner with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product Management, Business Systems and GL Accounting teams to assess revenue implications of new products, services and go-to-market strategies of acquired companies.
  • Support automation and system improvements to enhance revenue reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive revenue recognition/accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or software.
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and multi-element arrangements.
  • Experience with Net Suite (ARM preferred) or other revenue automation tools and Salesforce.
  • Prior M&A or integration project experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
