Akkodis is seeking a Senior UX/SAS Product Designer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA
. You will lead the design of intuitive SAS-based platforms and analytics workflows while ensuring model governance and deployment best practices.
$56/hour to $58/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design and deliver intuitive user experiences for SAS-based platforms, ensuring alignment with analytics workflows and execution models.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to translate complex SAS functionalities into user-friendly interfaces.
- Develop and maintain design systems and standards tailored for SAS environments, including governance and deployment workflows.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and optimize product performance.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for SAS products such as Viya, Studio, Model Manager, and Visual Analytics.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and scalability best practices while supporting iterative improvements based on user feedback.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years in UX/Product Design, with proven experience in SAS-based platforms.
- Must have prior experience working at a Big Five Hi-Tech company.
- Direct experience designing SAS products or SAS-based platforms (e.g., Viya, Studio, Model Manager, Visual Analytics).

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
