Frontend Developer (Contract) – Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid)

Akkodis is seeking a Frontend Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). You will design and deliver scalable, high-performance user interfaces while ensuring seamless integration with backend services. Proficiency in React and JavaScript is essential to succeed in this role.

58 $/hour to 60 $/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using React and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Optimize application performance for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement best practices for UI/UX design and accessibility standards.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices.
• Stay updated with emerging frontend technologies and frameworks.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of JavaScript development and 6 years of React experience; 5 years of API development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript with exposure to backend systems and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Graph
  
  QL concepts and automation tooling (Terraform, Kubernetes);
  Python experience preferred.
