We are looking for a strong technical, customer‑focused Senior Technical Program Manager with skills that span science, complex data creation, software engineering, product management, large‑scale planning, and sheer vision. This role will work in close collaboration with scientists, engineers, and data consultants to define, track, execute, and report on data generation tasks for model training and evaluations for multiple model variants and benchmarks through multiple data creation channels (in‑house, contractor, staffing agencies, vendors, etc.).
You will help cut through ambiguities of novel data needs and define optimal data delivery strategies.
- Be the first point of contact and the account owner for our key science customers.
- Build and execute plans for fulfilling the customer's mid‑term and long‑term data needs across diverse domains, novel data formats, and multiple fulfillment channels.
- Find the opportunities for multiplying innovation across different data work streams, leading advances into science and complex data representations.
- Work across teams, with a wide range of stakeholders, and elbow‑to‑elbow with our scientists and Language Engineers as well as with partner product teams.
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
- Experience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
- 3+ years experience in complex data creation for AI models.
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
- Experience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience defining KPI’s/SLA’s used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
