- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in a software development or equivalent role, with a focus on building and deploying AI-first web applications
- 2 years of experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL), querying databases or statistical analysis, or a relevant PhD degree.
- Experience developing and deploying applications on GCP such as Cloud Run, Cloud
SQL, Bigquery. - Experience in front-end development using Angular and Type Script.
- Experience with Python for back-end development and data manipulation.
- Ability to manage and co-ordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.

In this role, you will monitor Alphabet’s risk environment, provide insights for effective risk management, and work with teams and leadership to strengthen controls that protect organizational value. You will advise business and engineering groups on risk areas, make valuable recommendations on controls, and influence decisions for product launches and system implementations. You will grow in a dynamic, technology-driven environment while focusing on key issues and critical details.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$170,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications that deliver data science created capabilities to internal auditors and other stakeholders.
- Develop and implement solutions for process automation, AI enablement and comprehensive reporting for existing audit workflows.
- Partner with data scientists, strategy and operations analysts, and cross-functional teams including Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management to translate audit needs and models into user-friendly tools.
- Deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code across the entire stack, primarily using Angular and Type Script for the front-end and Python for the back-end.
