The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. The salary information is a general guideline only. RTL Networks considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

RTL Networks has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer / Ground Controller providing network hardware & software expertise in support of the Combined Orbital Operations Logistics and Resiliency program. The Systems Engineer / Ground Controller will be responsible for providing support to the Satellite Engineering Operations & Sustainment Support (SEOSS) unit at the satellite factory in Sunnyvale, CA, providing systems administration support and Ground Controller tasks for all Ground Controller efforts in the MASC.

• Reset user passwords.
• Adjust satellite position.
• Support satellite operations.
• Monitor telemetry systems.
• Resolve communication issues.
• Support data center operations.
• Support hardware deployment, troubleshooting, etc. to ensure system reliability.
• Support Project Engineer duties as needed (host meetings, update Jira, etc.).
• Support VTC deployment, troubleshooting, etc. to ensure system reliability.

• Advanced degree and 3+ years’ experience or bachelor’s with 5+ years’ experience or equivalent.
• Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+).

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level with ability to obtain Top‑Secret. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.
