Overview: We are seeking an Academic Collaborator with a strong research background in machine learning, data science, or related fields to help drive innovation in our research and product development efforts. This is a part-time (20 hours/week) role ideal for a current Ph.D. student or researcher with a record of publications at top ML conferences (ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, etc.). The collaborator will provide expertise in designing methodologies, developing tools, and advancing cutting‑edge projects with direct impact on product innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with research teams on ongoing product and technology research.
- Design and implement new methodologies and tools for machine learning research.
- Conduct independent and collaborative research on user behavior, data, and models.
- Partner with engineers, analysts, and product stakeholders to integrate research findings.
- Publish and present research findings as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Current Ph.D. student in Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed AI/ML conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR).
- Solid foundation in modern ML methodologies and statistical modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct high‑quality independent research.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
