AV Technician II

Sunnyvale, CA 94086

Duration: 1 year with the possibility to extend

Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM;
Possible swing shift (3pm-12am), weekends as well.

Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr

• 3+ Years Technical
  
  Experience:
  
  Hands-on experience in hardware maintenance, electronics troubleshooting, robotics, automotive electronics, or comparable environments.
• Linux Diagnostics
  
  Competency:
  
  Working proficiency with SSH/SCP, systemctl, journalctl, network diagnostics (ip/ping), log analysis, and executing Bash/Python scripts for troubleshooting.
• Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Ability to interpret diagnostic outputs and technical documentation, with experience in firmware/software provisioning or hardware validation.

Valid driver's license, full-time onsite availability, ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and flexibility for alternative shifts/weekends as needed.

• Direct AV / ADAS
  
  Experience:
  
  Prior experience in autonomous vehicle (AV) fleet upkeep, depot operations, or ADAS system maintenance.
• Sensor Calibration Workflows: Hands-on experience with LiDAR, Radar, Camera, and GPS/IMU calibration, including chart/target alignment routines.
• Basic Script Reading: Ability to read and interpret basic Bash or Python scripts to troubleshoot script execution failures.
• SOP Auditing & Leadership: Ability to audit existing SOPs, serve as a local escalation point, and assist with onboarding new technicians
