Position Overview
Trimble is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler/Production and Service Technician to support onsite operations in Sunnyvale, CA on a 6-month contract (W2; US Citizen/Green Card required). In this dual-focused role, you’ll handle precision assembly, testing, and quality control of single-board GPS receiver hardware, and also diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair units returned from the field. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on electronics capability, including RF systems and microprocessor-based diagnostics, with a quality-first, documentation-minded approach in a manufacturing environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production and Service Technician to join our manufacturing and technical support team.

• In this dual-focused role, you will be responsible for the precision assembly, testing, and quality control of single-board GPS receiver hardware, as well as diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing returned units from the field.
• The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in electronics troubleshooting, and RF/microprocessor-based troubleshooting.
