About the Company
Our client is seeking a seasoned employment litigation attorney to join a dynamic team in the Silicon Valley or East Bay. This highly ranked regional law firm is offering a senior level attorney to manage the full employment litigation lifecycle on a wide variety of cases. The firm offers great prospects for career development, a collaborative working environment, and a competitive compensation package.
The annual minimum billable hours target is approximately 1700.
The ideal candidate will possess 8+ years of employment litigation experience, with a proven track record of leading matters on their own. The role will involve handling a diverse range of litigation including defense against FEHA and Title VII claims, wage and hour, class action, PAGA, trade secret and unfair competition. This role requires representing clients in court, arbitration, and before administrative agencies.
Responsibilities>
- Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Minimum of 8+ years of litigation experience.
- Significant experience handling complex employment law matters.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong case management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- A book of business is not required but the ability to build a book is desired.
This position provides a competitive base salary range of approximately $175,000-$225,000 and additional incentives.
