Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting

Our client, a global medical technology company, is seeking a Senior Manager to lead SEC reporting and technical accounting.

Location: Sunnyvale, CA. This position is hybrid, with in-office expectations Tuesday through Thursday.

Job Description: This role offers high visibility across the organization and the opportunity to shape the future of the reporting function.

• Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, proxy statements) in compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations
• Manage reporting calendar and coordinate with internal teams for timely and accurate disclosures
• Oversee internal controls and aspects of the close process, including share-based compensation accounting
• Monitor regulatory changes and recommend updates to disclosures and processes
• Provide mentorship and training to junior team members and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support government reporting accuracy

• 10+ years of experience in public accounting or industry
• CPA and bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, US GAAP, and XBRL tagging
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Experience managing complex reporting projects under tight deadlines
