- Work in a team‑based manufacturing laboratory responsible for synthesizing, testing, and qualifying ion exchange media used in chromatography consumables.
- The role supports high‑quality production through accurate testing, documentation, data analysis, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Perform testing and qualification of resin products using specialized instruments to meet customer demand.
- Record, analyze, and report test results accurately while maintaining proper documentation.
- Complete complex production work orders according to established procedures.
- Analyze data, derive conclusions, and prepare technical reports.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support manufacturing and quality goals.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 guidelines and corporate quality policies.
- Follow EH&S safety requirements and participate in safety improvement initiatives.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and propose countermeasures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Minimum of 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong mathematical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and follow written SOPs and verbal instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong sense of ownership, punctuality, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Understanding of production schedules and task prioritization.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform standing, walking, sitting, and manual handling tasks.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Hands‑on experience in a chemistry laboratory.
- Knowledge of chromatography software.
- Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., wrenches, torque drivers, tweezers).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and PPI Continuous Improvement tools.
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop new technical skills.
