Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a part‑time contract opportunity with Yoh's well‑known client in Sunnyvale, CA.
This clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Interesting job getting to help keep employees healthy and safe at work.
Shifts are every Thursday & Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm and Mon/Tues/Wed only as‑needed to cover PTO requests.
Top Skills You Should Possess- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of California
- 5+ years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience highly preferred:
Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting - Recent clinical experience and strong first‑aid skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
- Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
- Provide wellness materials/information (health promotion and disease prevention)
- Assist with the delivery of the medical surveillance program: schedule, obtain, and review all medical surveillance results from outside clinics
- Provide counseling, health education, and training programs
- Dispense OTC medications
- Respond to medical emergencies and administer first‑aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries
- BLS certified
- Must be comfortable working autonomously – every other Friday you will be the only Nurse onsite
- Prior experience using the EMR system, Cority, a big plus!
- Preferred certifications: CAOHC, NIOSH, COHN, CHES
