• Read and write English, interact with public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, occasionally up to 60 lbs.

The Part‑time Retail Associate performs management‑assigned duties, including but not limited to stocking and maintaining store sections, carry‑out services, and store cleaning.

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot as directed.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Load customer purchases by assisting customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.
