Base pay range$28.66/hr - $30.66/hr
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Pay: $28.66-$30.66/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain accurate inventory and location of pre-clinical and clinical samples
- Maintain sample integrity
- Accession pre-clinical and clinical samples into repository database
- Perform data entry/scanning of sample identification into repository database
- Organize and consolidate samples in relation to research studies
- Handles various types of biospecimens including fresh and frozen biofluids (e.g. blood, urine, stool, saliva, etc.)
- Monitors temperatures of storage refrigerators and freezers
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Bachelor of Science in life science or equivalent with 0-2 years of work experience
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 lbs.
- Must be able to process and handle materials frozen on dry ice (-80°C) for up to 6 hours per day
- Must be able to use a computer up to 6 hours per day
