This position requires a TS/SCI with consent to Polygraph. The Security Representative supports Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security programs and research and development activities within the National Security Space Line of Business in Sunnyvale, CA. The selected candidate will serve as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) responsible for interpreting and executing contract security guidance outlined in the DD254, advising program leadership on assessed security risks to program schedules, activities and milestone events.
Responsibilities include conducting security assessments, interpreting classification guidance, developing CONOPs, engaging subcontract program management, and overseeing subcontractor security programs.
- Studies and implements federal security regulations applicable to company compliance and contract execution (SCI security rules, ICD, DOD NISPOM).
- Works closely with U.S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and security rulings or deviations.
- Supports quality, schedule and cost objectives while maintaining fundamental security requirements.
- Prepares implementation manuals, procedures for handling, storing and granting access to classified materials.
- Develops and conducts security education classes; investigates violations and prepares preventive reports.
- Applies risk‑managed solutions to security issues and communicates recommendations to leadership and partners.
- Processes clearances and customer visits, and supports classified meetings.
- Experience working in an SCI environment.
- Knowledge of ICD and CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule).
- Ability to develop and foster relationships within diverse communities.
- Self‑driven and results‑oriented; able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to create, prepare, and deliver security‑related briefings.
- Team player capable of integrating into the broader organization.

Work Location & TeleworkOnsite full‑time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. No telecommuting or telework classification.
ScheduleWork schedule:
9x80, every other Friday off.
TS/SCI with Polygraph. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
