Senior, Software Engineer; Android

Position Summary

As an Android Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for large‑scale mobile application development supporting the Walmart Plus Membership experience in the Walmart app, making a direct impact on millions of customers.

• Work closely with business partners to provide robust technical solutions to business problems.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders on refining data contracts and managing development priorities.
• Lead fellow engineers through architectural guidelines and best practices in mobile development.
• Manage quality and application codebase for one or more products.

• Mastery of Kotlin and Gradle.
• Strong working knowledge of REST and use of external data sources.
• Experience using state‑of‑the‑art Android libraries (Android
  
  X, Retrofit, etc.).
• Ability to build products with focus on testability, test coverage.
• A disciplined approach to development, code review, testing, documentation and code structure in a team environment.
• Constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level.

Base pay range: $117,000 – $234,000 per year. Additional performance bonuses may apply.
