The Role
Walmart is seeking talented JAVA Backend Engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design and develop scalable backend systems that power our enterprise applications. You’ll work on cutting‑edge technologies and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Design and implement Microservices architecture
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs
- Optimize and manage SQL databases
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver robust solutions
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
- Solid understanding of REST API development
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills
- Candidates must be eligible to work without visa sponsorship. Not accepting relocation candidates at this time.
Pay range: $65.00 – $75.00/hr.
