Software Engineer - MLE- Agentic AI & AIOps

Position Summary

The WCNP AI team builds next-generation intelligent platforms for Walmart’s global scale. We are a small, high-impact group working at the intersection of AI, cloud infrastructure, and developer productivity.

As a Staff MLE, you will design and implement production-ready agentic AI systems and AI-driven automation to improve cloud reliability, scalability, and developer productivity. You will be a hands‑on engineer driving innovation in both platform intelligence and applied AI.

• Strong proficiency in Python (Go secondary).
• Experience with LLMs, retrieval frameworks, and agent orchestration

• Hands‑on expertise with Kubernetes/Cloud infra and observability
  .
• Proven ability to build scalable, reliable production services
  .

• Build and deploy Agentic AI platforms and Applications enabling autonomous execution and orchestration.
• Develop AI‑powered observability and autoscaling frameworks for large-scale systems.
• Integrate AI/ML solutions into CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and platform APIs
  .
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to deliver high‑impact automation.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related area and 2 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
• Experience creating inclusive digital experiences, implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
