- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience developing embedded systems/firmware design, implementation, and deployment.
- Experience developing distributed systems that leverage messaging patterns (e.g., Request Response, Pub Sub) and brokers (e.g., Kafka, ZeroMQ).
- Experience with server-level protocols and technologies, including Redfish, I2C, PLDM, NVMe-MI, or MCTP.

Build the next-generation data center monitoring stack for Google that enables quick hardware integration. Over the past five years, demand for new types of DC hardware has increased by an order of magnitude. The vast number of new, increasingly hardware configurations requires a monitoring infrastructure that can easily integrate, whether the hardware is Google- or vendor-designed. To achieve this, Google is modernizing its telemetry and management stack by adopting open standards and moving away from aged monitoring approaches designed for last-generation hardware.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
