Join the Apple Online Store Engineering team as a Frontend Engineer to help shape the future of Apple’s e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance web applications, delivering exceptional customer experiences across devices, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to bring innovative designs to life.
- Build and maintain high-performance, responsive web applications for Apple’s global online store.
- Partner with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver production-quality customer experiences.
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend code using JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks such as React.
- Optimize performance, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST, GraphQL, and backend services.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, shared components, testing, and engineering best practices.
- Evaluate new web technologies and help evolve scalable frontend solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of frontend development experience building consumer-facing applications.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, and CSS
3. - Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, browser behavior, and web performance.
- Experience integrating with APIs and working with Git, build tools, and CI/CD.
- Experience with React, Type Script, or Next.js
- Familiarity with GraphQL, automated testing, and design systems.
- Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and browser rendering performance.
- Experience building high-traffic, global, or e-commerce applications.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating polished customer experiences.
