Job Description

Job Duties Platform Development Design, build, and maintain both the frontend and backend of a new internal AI-powered platform — taking ownership of features from development through production deployment

Build and maintain integrations between the platform and cloud services, AI APIs, and internal data sources

Write clean, tested, and well-documented code across the full stack (Python backend + React/Type Script frontend)
Contribute to architectural discussions with guidance from senior engineers — learning to think beyond the feature and consider system designAI & Automation Integrate generative AI and LLM capabilities into the platform to help business teams find information faster, answer questions, and automate repetitive workflows

Begin applying agentic and tool-calling patterns with growing independence — supported by senior engineers

Collaboration & Requirements Partner with business teams to understand workflows and translate them into working software features — with some guidance on scoping and prioritization

Participate actively in design reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Communicate progress, blockers, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Security & Governance Implement secure authentication and access control (OAuth 2.0 / OIDC) appropriate for sensitive business data Follow and contribute to data governance practices to ensure the platform handles information responsibly

Engineering Practices Contribute to and follow team engineering best practices — unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and documentation

Work confidently within CI/CD pipelines to build, test, and deploy features to production

Use observability and monitoring tools to diagnose issues and understand platform health in production

Iteration & Improvement Gather and act on real user feedback to iterate on features over time Balance speed and reliability — shipping incrementally while maintaining production quality standards

Qualifications

Level:Level: Junior / Early-Career (1–2 years of professional experience)
Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Relevant coursework or self-study in:
Web Development, Cloud Computing, Databases, Software Engineering, or AI/MLEquivalent practical experience considered in lieu of degree

Technical Skills Languages & Frameworks1–2 years of hands-on Python experience — professional or project-based; exposure to FastAPI or a comparable async framework is a plus React + Type Script — has shipped or contributed to UI features in a real or production-like environment

Solid understanding of REST API design and client-server architecture
