OTF is looking for Fitness Coaches to lead our coach‑inspired, science‑backed, technology‑tracked workouts.
We need coaches who make members feel welcome and integral to each hour spent in our studio. Their positive energy should linger long after the class, leaving members counting the hours until the next workout. Join Orange theory and lead the best 1‑hour full‑body group workout.
- Leading and motivating members through pre‑defined workouts
- Helping members set and achieve goals
- Ensuring members use correct form and offering corrections when needed
- Understanding the science behind our heart‑rate‑focused training programs and staying aware of industry trends
- Being a team player contributing to studio culture
- Coaching a minimum of 8 classes per week
- Willingness to immerse yourself in studio culture
- Education:
Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an approved provider (ACE, NASM, AFAA, NSCA, ACSM, ISSA); current AED/CPR certificate; at least 10 hours of continuing education per year outside the OTF curriculum - Knowledge +
Experience:
Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics; functional understanding of heart‑rate‑based training; 2+ years as a group or personal trainer preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook a plus - Soft Skills:
Strong communication, time management, organizational skills; ability to multi‑task; excellent customer service; team player mindset
The physical demands include regularly being on your feet during the entire workout, demonstrating exercises, and sometimes handling equipment such as Bosu trainers, medicine balls, dumbbells, TRX, and mini bands. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
