Position Summary
Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Director, Clinical Risk Management & Quality Improvement on behalf of our client, a medical center in Sunnyvale, Texas. The director is responsible for overall hospital quality and performance improvement and monitoring, and ensures the delivery of differentiated, safe, patient-focused, outcomes-based and cost-effective care in the hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee quality improvement and coordinate patient safety data reporting, analysis and clinical outcomes aligned with the regional quality direction.
- Develop an integrated approach to quality, patient safety, occurrence reporting, analysis and clinical outcomes, covering regulatory requirements, performance improvement and core measures.
- Develop, implement and manage the hospital's accreditation and regulatory compliance program.
- Promote regulatory compliance and safety while providing leadership that ensures safe patient care.
- Coordinate clinical excellence, patient safety, process improvement, outcomes management and regulatory readiness.
- Serve as a resource for clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory and quality improvement issues.
- Manage investigation and evaluation activities for professional and general liability occurrences and pre-litigation claim files.
- Negotiate claim resolutions with the hospital and corporate risk management.
- Provide risk management assessments, in-service education, consultation and on-call emergency assistance to providers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas.
- 10 years of clinical experience as an RN.
- 2+ years of experience in quality or risk management.
- Must be authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.
