MATERIAL HANDLER I - LOADER 3rd SHIFT (Sunnyvale, Texas, 75182)

Join the largest manufacturer of tile and natural stone in the United States, Dal‑Tile, a subsidiary of Mohawk Industries. This role is a 3rd‑shift position (M‑F, 7:00 pm–3:30 am) and requires operating various powered industrial trucks to load and unload finished product in the shipping and receiving process.

3rd: M‑F, 7:00 pm–3:30 am

• Sit‑Down Forklift
• Stand‑Up/Reach Forklift
• Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift

Picking

• Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets.
• Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy.
• Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas.

Receiving

• Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking.
• Opens crates and inspects product.
• Applies labels to product according to established procedures.
• Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location.

Putaway

• Utilizes powered industrial equipment to move product into pre‑designated areas within warehouse once received.
• Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves.
• Ensures product is placed into accurate location.

SPC Check/Pack Checking

• Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping.
• Labels boxes with packing slip.
• Loads boxes into conveyor belt.
• Verifies orders for accuracy.

General

• Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
• Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
• Keeps area safe, clean, and organized.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of sit‑down forklift, reach truck, and OP experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record‑keeping and listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Ability to understand and speak English.
• Ability to work in a safe, conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal‑Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
