Software Engineer III, Workspace Device Security

Write product or system development code.

Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.

Drive the development of distributed services (using Java and C++) that power Device Security related features.

Address customer needs related to Google Credential Provider for Windows and Windows device management.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or Type Script, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

Experience in system design, system architecture, distributed systems, software engineering, and full-stack development.

Experience leading cross-functional projects across multiple teams and stakeholders to align technical strategy and execute deliverables.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Experience developing accessible technologies.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
