As a Tax Associate, you will apply your tax training and support our clients through personalized, accurate tax returns.

• Conduct client tax interviews face‑to‑face and via virtual tools—video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
• Grow your tax expertise.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• Previous customer service or retail experience.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.
• Ability to work 25–35 hours weekly during tax season, up to 40 hours during peak weeks.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or the Income Tax Course.
• Experience with virtual tools—video, phone, and chat.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Must meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• High school diploma or higher.
