The asphalt plant operator will repair and maintain the electrical and mechanical components of a hot‑mix asphalt plant and operate the plant to produce hot mix asphalt. This full‑time seasonal position works April through November (weather permitting) and requires overtime and occasional Saturdays. The role reports to the asphalt plant foreperson and is essential for delivering the highest quality hot mix asphalt to our customers.

• Repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components of the hot‑mix asphalt plant.
• Operate the plant to produce high‑quality hot mix asphalt.
• Follow the company’s safety programs and policies.

• Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.
• Great candidates include: heavy‑duty mechanic/fabricator, welding experience, electricians with control experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions.
• Team player, able to listen, take direction, and train less experienced employees.
