This is a skilled position requiring an operator to load material / aggregate / soils into transport vehicles or crushing and screening plants or mix asphalt plants. Loads will be properly weighed and free from debris that can fall from the trailers or beds of the transports. Equipment Operators will be responsible for distributing materials evenly throughout transport. In addition, Equipment Operators filling crushers and screen plants or hot mix asphalt plants are responsible for materials of proper classification to be fed continually.
On the job training will provide the knowledge and skills to become a productive member of one of our crews with the potential for advancement opportunities.
This is a full‑time seasonal position, working May through November (weather permitting). This position requires working overtime. Local and regional travel opportunities are available.

Qualifications- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions
- Ability to listen and take direction from others while being a team player and helping to train less experienced employees
- Knowledge of aggregate sizes, classifications and weight requirements of loads leaving the pit
- Ability to keep time and material records
- Knowledge of soils, sand and aggregate classification to help produce “spec” material through the crushing operation
- Excellent customer relation skills
