Holistic DevelopmentFoster a learning-through-doing environment that bridges play‑based EYFS with the structured requirements of Year1 and

Apply differentiation strategies for a diverse classroom, specifically supporting EAL learners and those with early SEN needs.
Formative AssessmentUse continuous observation and age‑appropriate assessments to track developmental milestones and academic progress.
Classroom EnvironmentMaintain a nurturing, highly organized and visually stimulating language‑rich classroom that promotes safety and curiosity.
Safeguarding & WellbeingEnsure the highest standards of child protection and pastoral care, managing the transition and emotional needs of young learners.
Parental PartnershipMaintain daily/weekly communication with parents through digital apps or journals to build a strong home‑school connection.
CollaborationParticipate in year‑group planning to ensure curriculum continuity and shared best practices.
Position & QualificationsLower Primary Teacher – Female (2 Expat Positions).
- B.Ed. minimum, Primary/Early Years preferred.
- 2+ years teaching experience, lower primary desirable.
- Strong understanding of child‑centered learning & early childhood development.
- Excellent classroom management & communication with young learners.
Strongly Preferred:
Phonics‑based literacy, Tech integration in early learning.
Essential Criteria
- Positive nature & supportive member of staff.
- Willing to positively work towards our goal of being one of the leading schools in Oman.
- Experience with British or international curriculum.
- Experience with EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Living in Sur or willing to relocate – appreciation for outdoor, community‑based lifestyle.
