The Learning Resources Specialist is responsible for maintenance of the LRC sur campus and its collections and for providing information and research services to users. He ensures that the center materials are current, easily accessible and available to Learning Resources Centre users.

Minimum 2 years of experience as Librarian or Learning Resources Specialist preferably in an academic library.

• Excellent in using computer including word processing, spreadsheets, email, databases, Internet searching and integrated library/Learning Resources Centre management systems.
• Knowledge and experience of using library/Learning Resources Centre management system.
• Effective written and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to deal fairly and effectively with large groups of male and female students.
• Fluent in English & Arabic.

Bachelor degree in Library Science Information Studies or a closely relevant related field, from a recognized university.
