Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, commissioning, testing, and configuration of EV charging equipment (AC / DC chargers).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and basic software-related issues to restore system availability promptly.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance in accordance with service schedules and SLA requirements.
- Support charger upgrades, firmware updates, and system optimization activities.
- Perform site inspections, including power supply, grounding, network connectivity, and environmental checks.
- Prepare accurate service reports, including fault analysis, root cause identification, corrective actions, and follow‑up recommendations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Product, Technical Support, Project Management) to resolve complex technical issues.
- Support pilot projects, new product introductions (NPI), and field testing of new charger models or features.
- Provide basic technical guidance to customers, site operators, or junior technicians when required.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and local electrical regulations.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline required;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in EV chargers, power systems, industrial equipment, or field service engineering preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with on‑site commissioning, fault diagnosis, and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting tools such as multimeters, insulation testers, and basic diagnostic software.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites and work flexible hours when project support is required.
- Hands‑on experience with AC / DC EV chargers, charging modules, power cabinets, or battery‑related systems.
- Knowledge of EV charging standards and protocols such as IEC 61851, IEC 62196, CCS, CHAdeMO, or OCPP.
- Experience in SLA‑based field service environments and incident response processes.
- Understanding of local electrical safety regulations and site acceptance procedures.
- Experience supporting overseas projects or working in multicultural environments.
- Work with a fast‑growing global EV charging solutions provider.
- Gain hands‑on exposure to EV charging infrastructure projects across multiple markets.
- Collaborate closely with product, R&D, and operations teams on real‑world deployments.
