Platform Engineer

A London-based Telecoms Consultancy is seeking VCC Platform Engineers to join their Professional Services team. This is a fully remote role, open to candidates in any global location.

You will be responsible for delivering customer projects, including system configuration, solution implementation, training, and documentation, acting as a key technical resource throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system configuration, solution testing, and production rollouts, acting as a Project Engineer on assigned engagements.
• Work closely with customers to understand business requirements, set clear expectations, and ensure alignment with the product's solution.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, project leaders, and management, exchanging technical and project-related information as required.
• Serve as a technical resource across multiple internal and customer-facing projects simultaneously, requiring minimal supervision or direction.
• Deliver both standard and advanced VCC implementations, including but not limited to:
  Digital engagement channels (Chat, Email, SMS), Complex IVR design and configuration, API integrations and data queries (“data dips”)

Key Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in Professional Services implementation and configuration within a cloud computing, contact centre, or telephony environment
• Solid understanding of SaaS solutions, VoIP, IVR, and contact centre best practices
• Strong working knowledge of CRM and Lead Management platforms such as Salesforce, Velocify, Net Suite, or Zendesk (preferred)
• Proven experience with Digital Engagement channels, including Email, Chat, and SMS
