We are seeking a Crypto Research Associate to support our investment and portfolio strategies by conducting research on cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technologies, and DeFi trends. You will analyze market data, evaluate emerging projects, and provide insights tailored to Fin Tech applications for small businesses (e.g., tokenized financing, crypto payments, yield optimization). This entry‑to‑mid‑level role involves data gathering, report preparation, and collaboration with senior teams to identify investment opportunities that empower small business owners through innovative blockchain solutions.

• Conduct market research: track crypto trends, price dynamics, on‑chain metrics, and macroeconomic factors using tools like Coin Gecko, Messari, Dune Analytics, and Defi Llama.
• Analyze blockchain projects: evaluate DeFi protocols, NFTs, RWA tokenization, and Layer 1/2 ecosystems for relevance to small business Fin Tech (e.g., lending platforms, loyalty tokens).
• Prepare reports and insights: create summaries, investment memos, competitor analyses, and data visualizations; contribute to due diligence for potential portfolio investments.
• Data collection and modeling: aggregate on‑chain/off‑chain data, build basic dashboards (e.g., in Excel, Tableau), and assist in forecasting market impacts on SMB financing.
• Monitor regulations and sentiment: follow global crypto laws (e.g., SEC, MiCA), social trends on X/Reddit, and news to assess risks/opportunities for Fin Tech adoption.
• Support team collaboration: assist senior researchers, investors, and product teams in integrating crypto insights into strategies for small business‑focused brands.
• Stay updated: participate in virtual events, read research papers, and engage in crypto communities to provide timely, forward‑looking recommendations.

• 1–3+ years of experience in crypto research, financial analysis, or related roles (e.g., in VC, consulting, or Web3 projects); entry‑level candidates with strong internships considered.
• Solid knowledge of crypto fundamentals: blockchain tech, DeFi mechanics, token economics, on‑chain metrics, and market cycles.
• Proficiency in research tools:
  Excel/Google Sheets for modeling, SQL/Python basics for data querying, Dune/Nansen for on‑chain analysis.
• Strong analytical skills: ability to synthesize data from sources like Delphi Digital, news APIs, and social platforms; attention to detail in volatile markets.
• Interest in Fin Tech for small businesses: understanding of crypto's role in SMB financing, payments, or tokenization preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field (required); crypto‑native passion and active market engagement essential.
• Excellent English communication; ability to work collaboratively in a fully remote, fast‑paced environment.
