We are looking for an experienced Customs & Compliance Officer to join our bonded manufacturing plant in Surabaya. This role is responsible for end‑to‑end bonded zone (Kawasan Berikat) customs compliance, including bonded ledger management, import/export declaration, duty drawback, internal control, and audit support with DJBC (Directorate General of Customs and Excise). The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience in a KB‑bonded manufacturing environment and can work effectively with both IDN customs authorities and Chinese HQ teams.

Job Responsibilities- Maintaintheelectronicbondedledgerforthebondedfactory.
Manage full‑processrecordscoveringimportofbondedmaterials,productionconsumption,wastage,finished‑goodsexport,scrapdisposal,materialtransferbetweenbondedfacilities,anddomesticsales,toensureconsistencyamongaccounts,documentsandphysicalinventory. - Reviewimportandexportcustoms‑declarationdocuments,andcoordinatewithlocalcustomsbrokersforsubmissionsviatheDJBCsystem.
Applyfor Certificates of Originunderthe ASEANFree‑Trade Agreementandcontrolcompliancerisksrelatedtorules‑of‑origin. - Handleapplicationsfordomesticsalesofbondedmaterials,calculateapplicablecustomsdutiesandVAT,completecustomsapprovalandtax‑supplementprocedures,andmanagecompliantdisposalofdefectiveproductsandbondedscrapmaterials.
- Monitorupdatesto Indonesiancustomsandbonded‑zonepolicies.
Conductregularinternalcustomscomplianceself‑inspections,andpreparecompletesupportingdocumentationforcustomsaudits. - Collaborate with Procurement,Production,Warehouse and Financeteamstoimplementsegregatedmanagementofbondedmaterialsandcalculatematerialconsumptionnorms.
ServeasthekeyliaisonwithDJBC(Indonesian Customs),bonded‑zonemanagementauthority,customsbrokersandfreightforwarders. - Preparemonthlyreportsonbondedinventory,import‑exportactivities,domesticsalesandcompliancerisks.
Reporttothe Chinaheadquartersbilinguallyin English and Chinese .
- Proficientinreadingandwriting English and Chinese ;capableofindependentlypreparingcustoms‑declarationdocuments.
Chineseproficiencyisrequiredforcommunicationwiththe China‑basedheadquarters. - Minimum2‑yearsofhands‑oncustoms‑complianceexperiencewithinan
Indonesianbondedmanufacturingfacility.
SolidpracticalknowledgeofDJBCbonded‑ledgeroperationsandconsumption‑normreporting;manufacturing‑industrybackgroundispreferred. - In‑depthunderstandingof
Indonesiancustomsregulations,theKBbonded‑factoryscheme,ASEANrules‑of‑origin,import‑dutyandVATprovisions,aswellascustoms‑audit procedures. - ExperiencedinoperatingtheDJBCcustoms‑declarationsystem.
Advanced Excelskillsforconsumption‑normcalculationandbonded‑inventoryledgermaintenance. - Strong risk‑awareness,meticulousworkstyle,provencross‑functionalexecutionskillsandindependentexternal‑stakeholdercommunicationcapabilities.
Able to communicate fluently in Chinese.
- Previousworkingexperienceata Chinese‑investedoverseasKBbondedfactory.
- Track‑recordofsetting‑upcustoms‑compliancesystemsforanewly‑establishedbondedfactoryfromscratch.
- Practicalexposuretobonded‑scrap‑materialdisposalandinter‑KB‑factorybonded‑material‑transfer operations.
