Quality Assurance Specialist - Fisheries | Hybrid

JALA is looking for QC Staff who will be responsible to determine and implement product quality standards, conduct quality testing and inspections, monitor production processes, and ensure cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and employees in accordance with company standards.

• Determine and implement product quality standards in accordance with specifications from the Supply Chain team.
• Conduct quality testing on raw materials and finished products, including microbiological and chemical testing.
• Supervise, monitor, and provide recommendations at every stage of the production process to identify potential quality issues.
• Perform inspections on products after freezing, including product weight, UF, defects, weighing, and glazing.
• Monitor the cleanliness of the packing and packaging areas, as well as the cleanliness of equipment and employees.

• Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 months of work experience in the fisheries processing industry.
• Good and fluent communication skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
