Buyer Manager

At Snackita, we are redefining convenience retail through our network of modern snack stores across Indonesia. As a rapidly growing retail chain, we are seeking a Buyer Manager to optimize our product sourcing and inventory management.

• Supplier Network Management:
  Actively source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with Food & Beverage (F&B) suppliers and principals, with a focus on snack and retail food products.
• Strategic Procurement:
  Negotiate optimal pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to maximize value.
• Retail Operations Support:
  Ensure proper stock levels across all outlets and prevent shortages.
• Cost Optimization:
  Implement smart purchasing strategies while maintaining product quality standards.
• Market Adaptation:
  Quickly respond to market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
• Product Performance Analysis:
  Conduct regular analysis of product performance and provide improvement solutions to optimize assortment and turnover.
• BPOM & Compliance Handling:
  Ensure all products meet BPOM regulations and other applicable food safety standards before distribution.
• Expired Date Management:
  Monitor and control product expiry dates across the supply chain, coordinate with suppliers for rotation, returns, or disposal, and minimize write-offs due to expiration.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the procurement of food & beverage products.
• Hands‑on experience in the food/beverage retail industry (e.g., supermarket, mini market, food/snack chain store).
• Established network with F&B, especially snack and retail food, suppliers and principals.
• Strong data analytical skills; strong Excel capability is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written & spoken);
  Mandarin is a plus.
• Adaptable to a fast‑paced retail environment and able to work under pressure.
• Excellent relationship management skills with both suppliers and internal teams.
