About the Role Our client, a prestigious international fashion brand, is looking for an experienced and results‑oriented Area Sales Manager to oversee multiple retail locations in and around Surabaya . This critical role demands a leader with a strong commercial acumen, excellent people management skills, and a passion for driving sales performance across a defined geographical area. You will be responsible for coaching and developing store managers, ensuring operational excellence, and executing brand strategies to maximize profitability and market share.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of store managers to achieve sales targets and operational objectives.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance across all assigned stores, identifying trends and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent execution of merchandising, visual standards, and operational procedures across all locations.
• Manage stock levels, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention strategies for the area.
• Recruit, train, and retain high‑performing retail staff in collaboration with store managers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including store teams and regional management.
• Oversee the implementation of marketing and promotional activities to drive foot traffic and sales.
• Ensure a superior customer experience is delivered at all points of contact within the stores.
• Manage area budgets, controlling costs while maximizing return on investment.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, provide feedback, and support store teams.

• A minimum of 6 years of retail management experience, with at least 3 years in an area or multi‑unit management role.
• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving profitability targets.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent understanding of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
• Ability to travel regularly within the assigned area, including occasional overnight stays.
• A passion for fashion and a keen eye for retail trends.
• Reside within or have strong ties to the Surabaya region.
