Position Overview:

An  Admission Counsellor  plays a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admission process for the institution. They provide information about courses, eligibility, admission criteria, and career prospects, ensuring a smooth and efficient application experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counselling:
Assist and guide prospective students regarding course selection, admission procedures, and career paths.
Address queries through calls, emails, or in-person meetings.
Provide clarity on eligibility, fees, scholarships, and financial aid.
Application and Admission Process:
Help students complete application forms and collect required documents.
Follow up with students to ensure timely submission of applications.
Coordinate with the admissions team to process applications efficiently.
Lead Generation and Follow-ups:
Generate leads through online/offline marketing campaigns, referrals, and partnerships.
Maintain a database of potential students and conduct regular follow-ups.
Collaboration with Institutions:
Liaise with universities, colleges, or coaching centers to facilitate admissions.
Stay updated with admission policies, program changes, and industry trends.
Event Management & Outreach:
Participate in educational fairs, seminars, and school visits to promote the institution.
Conduct webinars and orientation sessions for students and parents.
Reporting & Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and admission statuses.
Prepare reports on lead conversions and admission progress.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred in Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field).

Experience:

1-3 years in academic counselling, admissions, or a related field (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply).

Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time-management abilities
Knowledge of CRM software and MS Office
