Role
Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Executive role based at Dolphy's corporate office in Surat. The Purchase Executive will manage the end-to-end procurement cycle, including processing purchase requisitions, preparing and tracking purchase orders, and maintaining accurate purchase records. The role involves sourcing and evaluating vendors, obtaining and comparing quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
The Purchase Executive will coordinate closely with internal departments to understand material requirements, monitor stock levels, and prevent shortages or overstocking. Daily responsibilities also include following up with suppliers, resolving discrepancies in quantity, quality, or documentation, and supporting cost control and process improvement initiatives in the purchase function.
Qualifications:
Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including experience with Procurement, Purchase Management, and vendor coordination.
Hands-on experience handling Purchase Orders and Purchase
Requisition s, with accurate documentation and record-keeping.
Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers, including clear written and verbal communication.
Good analytical and negotiation abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
Familiarity with ERP or purchasing software, MS Excel, and basic data analysis for reporting.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience in purchasing or supply chain, ideally in manufacturing, construction, or B2B project environments, is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site full-time in Surat, manage multiple priorities, and uphold ethical and transparent purchasing practices.
