Sales Executive

Role Description  The Sales Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at FURNITURE ISLAND in Surat. The role involves welcoming customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending suitable furniture solutions that align with their preferences and budget. Daily tasks include demonstrating product features, preparing quotations, managing orders, coordinating with the store and warehouse teams, and ensuring timely delivery updates for customers. The Sales Executive will maintain showroom displays, handle basic inquiries in person and by phone, and support promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales.

This role also includes recording sales data, following up with prospective customers, and contributing to a professional, well-organized store environment.
Qualifications
Strong sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain long-term customer relationships.
Basic knowledge of furniture products, interior preferences, and the ability to explain features, materials, and care instructions clearly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills in English and local languages, with professional presentation and active listening.
Comfort with handling billing, quotations, and simple inventory checks; familiarity with point-of-sale systems is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Surat, including weekends and retail peak hours, and to stand or move around the showroom for extended periods.
Prior experience in retail sales, furniture, home décor, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
Minimum high school diploma; a commerce or business-related qualification is an added benefit.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
