Pay: Starting from $17 per hour

Location: Surprise, AZ

• Answer the phone in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner, screen and route calls as needed, create a phone note in the patient electronic medical record, and provide information to patients.
• Assist in indexing patient documents to the correct patient chart.
• Assist in routing electronic faxes to the correct location fax folder and/or uploading to the correct patient chart.
• Assist with other duties as needed during downtime.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer / patient service.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Working knowledge of computer programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand/Perform training on practice management software.
• Continue to expand knowledge of practice management software as updates occur.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
• Minimum Qualifications:
  
  High School diploma or GED.

• At least one year of medical office experience.
• 1+ year using an EMR with Mod Med experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Basic phone handling skills – Contact Center experience.
• Basic knowledge of insurance plans and the specialty referral process.
