Direct Support Provider

Wee Care has been proudly serving families in our community and surrounding areas since 2006. We offer home and community-based services and therapy services to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve and maintain their highest level of independence.

We currently have immediate needs for direct support providers to work with individuals in the Surprise area.

14 year old Males requires support with their daily Attendant Care needs. One or Two providers can be considered.

11 year old Male needs Habilitation and Respite. Flexible schedule.

The ideal candidate would have working or personal experience providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and be committed to their health and safety. Motivation to make a positive impact in the life of another individual is important for this position. Direct Support Providers should promote self-esteem with the individuals they support and be an advocate for them.

Direct Support Provider will support the individual with their daily living skills and goals, which may include feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, incontinent care, transfers and transportation.

Direct Support Provider will support the individual in their home and in the community.

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid certification a plus
• Article 9 certification a plus
• Have or be able to Obtain Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance
• Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate a plus
• DCW Level 1 & 2
• Prevention and Support Training / Positive Behavior Support Training
• Ability to work required shifts
• Have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
