About the roleAt Papa, companion caregivers—also known as Papa Pals—are warm, caring individuals who provide part‑time companionship and assistance to older adults and families. Support includes help around the house, running errands, providing transportation, and most importantly—friendly company.
Responsibilities- Assist with daily household tasks and errands
- Provide transportation to appointments and events
- Offer friendly companionship and conversation
- Earn up to $17.00/hr with additional bonuses
- Receive mileage reimbursement for transportation visits (availability depends on location)
- Work on your own flexible schedule using the mobile app
- Typical visit opportunities are 2‑4 hours; create your own schedule around your life
- Age 21 or older
- Ability to communicate in English
- Valid U.S. issued driver’s license
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and motor‑vehicle report
- Proof of valid vehicle insurance with your name on the policy
- Access to a smartphone
- Access to a vehicle [] or newer
- Kind‑hearted, patient, and caring personality
- No prior healthcare or caregiving experience required
- Availability to work 2 or more hours per week
